Studs and Bolts
Studs and bolts are two types of threaded fasteners that are both incredibly versatile as well as strong parts, despite their commonly small size.
Bolts are very similar to screws. Both have a threaded shaft, with a wider head on one end, and they both have a variety of head designs. However, bolts more typically match up with a nut after threading through the substrate.
Studs are a type of threaded rod or bolt, which are threaded on both sides instead of one. Sometimes the thread extends the full length of the stud as well. These types of fasteners are best used in applications in which they will undergo a large amount of tension.
